Student part-time job: eLearning developer

We are VitalScientific, a unique high-tech company in the Netherlands (based in Spankeren) that develops and produces In-Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) instruments; these are small and medium-sized analysis instruments for blood analysis in particular. An example: you have your blood taken to measure your Vitamin D level, this blood tube goes into our machine and the result then rolls out. These instruments are used in laboratories and hospitals worldwide. The equipment is exported to Central and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. VitalScientific employs approximately 120 people and consists of a Dutch and French branch. Want to know more about us? Check out our website.

The eLearning developer assignment

During this assignment, you will work together with the Technical Services & System Support team, consisting of 5 colleagues. This team provides technical support to customers and provides training on our IVD instruments. Within this team, we now have room for an assignment. The assignment includes:

  • Renewal of existing e-learning modules in collaboration with technical trainers and product specialists.
  • Developing new e-learning modules, in which your creativity and skills are central.
  • Setting up a new industry on our e-learning platform, with possible new or rewritten content.
  • You will work with tools such as Articulate Rise and professional recording equipment in our video room.
  • Deploying our branding strategy together with our marketing department

What do you bring with you as an eLearning developer?

  • You are an HBO student (second-year or higher) or graduate.
  • You are independent, organized and have good communication skills.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere and Articulate Rise and knowledge of Talent LMS is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English (e-learning modules are in English).
  • Affinity with branding.
  • Available for an average of 10 hours per week (period of at least 6 months).
